It’s every college dance team’s most awaited night of the year. It’s the event for the nations best dance crews to show their moves. Come watch them set the stage ablaze in a night of mind blowing entertainment and immense fun. The night will see twelve non-themed and eight themed performances from various colleges.

Saarang 2012 is proud to present the young and dynamic Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP. DSP first came to the fore with the musical hit ‘Anandam’, and later cemented his position at the top with super hits such as ‘Feel My Love’, ‘Appudo Ippudo’, ‘Allegra’, ‘Nee Varumbodhu’, ‘She Stole My Heart’ and ‘Uppenantha’. Well known for his item numbers, DSP has recently achieved national fame with the runaway hit ‘Ringa Ringa’ or ‘Dhinka Chika’ as it is known in the North. He has also gained popularity as a solid entertainer for his energetic stage performances. The finalists of ‘Tarang’, the popular College band competition of Saarang, will open for DSP

Rock Show at Saarang'12 brings you the Swedish band Vildhjarta live for the first time in India. Often touted to be one of the most innovative djent bands around the globe, Vildhjarta is regarded as the next best thing since Meshuggah. Their music is characterized by harmonic minor riffs that set the ambience with layers of reverberant guitars. And if this wasn't enough, we have 3 of the biggest Indian metal bands- Scribe, Blind Image and Inner Sanctum also performing at the show. All this, coupled with opening acts by the Decibels finalists- this is one metal fest you DONT want to miss!

First in the limelight with the super hit album ‘Jhankaar Beats’, the duo has gradually risen to the top of the music industry with hits such as ‘Sheila ki Jawani’, ‘Chammak Challo’, ‘Desi Girl’ and ‘Dus Bahane’. Recent collaborations with international artistes such as Imogen Heap and Akon have propelled this dynamic duo to international stardom as well. Vishal & Shekhar are also well known for their singing prowess and entertaining shows. They will be supported by award-winning singer, Shweta Pandit. Popular Indian band ‘Faridkot’, who have recently gained immense fame with their debut album ‘Ek’, will be opening for Vishal & Shekhar
